The food: sattvic, fresh, and adaptable
Three vegetarian meals a day come from our own kitchen, cooked fresh from seasonal local produce — light, nourishing, and easy on a body that is practising twice a day. Breakfast follows the morning session; lunch is the main meal; dinner is lighter, before evening satsang. Chai and filtered water are available throughout the day.
We cook for real diets, not a single fixed menu. Vegan, gluten-free, and allergy or medical needs are accommodated — tell us in advance and the kitchen prepares for you. Most schools in Rishikesh say “three sattvic meals” and stop there; we would rather you knew exactly how we handle the way you actually eat.
Everything in one place
Your room, the dining space, and the shala where you practise share one riverside campus in Tapovan. There is no daily commute — you wake, walk to the hall for 5:30 am pranayama, eat where you study, and rest a few steps from where you practised. A month of training is intense; not having to navigate a city between sessions is part of what lets you go deep.
The campus sits a short walk from the Ganges, Ram Jhula bridge, and the evening Ganga Aarti — close enough to feel Rishikesh, quiet enough for sunrise practice.
